Project
Description
Underground water level, ground height, and their proximity to water sources are all essential determinants of safe water quality parameters. DPHE launched the BRWSSP project to ensure consistent access to arsenic-free, safe water in selected rural areas of Bangladesh. For this assignment, observation wells were observed in 383 unions in 97 Upazilla in 33 Districts to determine the relative position and spatial relationship of these water point locations with respect to water table depth, ground height, and mean sea level.

Key Points of Methodology
- GCP plan preparation
- Collection of GCP by RTK
- Interpolation
Key Points of Outcome
- Spatial relationship with water quality parameter
- GIS map
- Up-down of water table of Bangladesh
- Relationship of observation well water table depth with respect to ground level and mean sea level
